Mind and Body
By Mike Dominguez
Hello everyone, I would like to promote the services of my friend, Brian Lamar Lovelace. He has powered me through a physically difficult year. Last December I injured my back and ended up in the ER for NYE. Agony kept me sleepless for the first two months of the year. Then I injured my achilles and once again, the pain was intolerable. It wasn’t until late March that I began to emerge from the season of pain. I was fragile and really worried about a re-injury. Terrified, really.
Brian asked me what happened, and said he could help me. I thought, “No one is gonna touch me, I might get hurt and be back in pain again.” So it took me until mid-April to get it in my head to accept his help. My back and achilles were still raw.
Brian’s session was a body and mind connection. We talked through some cue sports issues and their root causes for an hour, then moved into the body work. We ended with a short meditation. At the end, I felt like a new person. One. Session.
During the session we talked about preventative thoughts and behaviors, and I felt confident that I could keep pain at bay. I had a strategy with my mind and body moving forward. I urge you to see Brian. Don’t wait like I did. Do it now and you will be thanking him and your self.
With Brain's help, I was healthy enough go to Sheffield for the WSC (We got Luca!), then to NY to compete in the ISL in May where I brought home a trophy.
