The Seattle Nineball Open is a new wnt. ranking tournament hosted at famed OX Billiards from September 6 -8, 2024. The Pacific Northwest now has a home in Matchroom’s World Nineball Tour.
With a player cap of 64, and a minimum prize fund of $20,000, Seattle Nineball Open is set to stage top professionals and semi-professionals both homegrown and from across the country.
OX Billiards, with its 5,500 sqft. of cue sports heaven, promotes and hosts great tournaments like the WWS US Women’s Snooker Open, the USSA Snooker Nationals, the Northwest Cup, and the Seattle Snooker Open. OX’s commitment to education and inspiration has led them to host professional coaches and players in snooker and pool.
Tournament Format
Early Rounds - Friday and Saturday (September 6 & 7) Play starts at 10:00 am doors open at 9:00 am.
Double elimination until the Last 16 round.
Race to 9 on the A side and 7 on the B side in the early rounds - until the Last 16.
Knockout Rounds - Sunday (September 8th)
Redraw for the Last 16 round.
Single elimination.
Race to 11 in the Last 16, Quarterfinal, and Semifinal rounds.
Race to 13 in the Finals.
Rules
Nineball on the spot.
All-ball fouls.
Winner break throughout the tournament.
